Enrique Salem, Chairman of the Board, FireEye Managing Director, Bain Capital Ventures

Enrique has served as a member of the board of directors since February 2013 and as our Chairman of the Board since March 2017. Enrique previously served as our Lead Independent Director from February 2016 to March 2017. He has been a managing director of Bain Capital Ventures since July 2014. He was president, chief executive officer and a director of Symantec Corporation from April 2009 until July 2012. Prior to this, Enrique held other senior executive positions at Symantec from June 2004 to April 2009. Prior to Symantec, from April 2002 to June 2004, Enrique served as president and chief executive officer of Brightmail, Inc. prior to its acquisition by Symantec in 2004. He also held senior leadership roles at Oblix Inc., Ask Jeeves Inc., Peter Norton Computing, Inc., and Security Pacific Merchant Bank. In March 2011, Enrique was appointed to President Barack Obama's Management Advisory Board. He currently serves on the board of directors of a number of privately held technology companies. He previously served on the board of directors of Automatic Data Processing, Inc. from January 2010 to November 2013 and on the board of directors of Symantec Corporation from April 2009 to July 2012. He received the Estrella Award from the Hispanic IT Executive Council in 2010 and was named Entrepreneur of the Year in 2004 by Ernst & Young.

Kevin Mandia, Chief Executive Officer and Board Director

Kevin is the Chief Executive Officer of Mandiant and was previously the Chief Executive Officer of FireEye from June 2016 through September 2021. He was appointed to the company’s Board of Directors in February 2016.

As CEO of Mandiant, Kevin grew the company to nearly 500 employees and more than $100 million in revenue. Widely recognized as the leading provider of security incident management products and services prior to the acquisition, Mandiant remains the core of the highly successful FireEye consulting business.

Kevin has spent more than 20 years in information security and has been on the front lines helping organizations respond to computer security breaches. Before Mandiant, he was the Director of Computer Forensics at Foundstone (acquired by McAfee Corporation) from 2000 to 2003, and he was the Director of Information Security for Sytex (later acquired by Lockheed Martin) from 1998 to 2000. Kevin was also a United States Air Force Officer, serving as a computer security officer in the 7th Communications Group at the Pentagon, and a special agent in the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI). He holds a B.S. in computer science from Lafayette College and a M.S. in forensic science from The George Washington University.

Kimberly Alexy, Principal, Alexy Capital Management

Kimberly has served as a member of the board of directors since January 2015 and our Audit Committee Chair since May of 2016. She has served as the principal of Alexy Capital Management, a private investment management firm that she founded, since June 2005. Kimberly has served on the board of directors of a dozen pre-IPO and public company boards. She currently serves on the boards of Western Digital, where she Chairs the Audit Committee; Alteryx, where she Chairs the Nominating and Governance Committee; and Five9. She previously served on the board of directors of CalAmp, Microsemi, SMART Modular Technologies (WWH), Inc., SouthWest Water Company, Dot Hill Systems Corp, Maxtor and Vizio. From 2012 to 2014, Kimberly served as an adjunct lecturer at San Diego State University in the Graduate School of Business. From 1998 to 2003, she served as senior vice president and managing director of equity research for Prudential Securities, where she served as principal technology hardware analyst for the firm. Prior to joining Prudential, Kimberly served as vice president of equity research at Lehman Brothers, where she covered the computer hardware sector, and assistant vice president of corporate finance at Wachovia Bank.

Kimberly is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and holds a B.A. from Emory University and an M.B.A. with a concentration in finance and accounting from the College of William and Mary.

Sara Andrews, SVP and Chief Information Security Officer, PepsiCo, Inc.

Sara has served as a member of the board of directors since August 2020. She has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at PepsiCo, Inc. since July 2014, where she is responsible for safeguarding networks and data across all PepsiCo business units and brands globally. Prior to joining PepsiCo, Inc., she served as Chief Network Security Officer of Verizon Communications, Inc. from June 1997 to July 2014, during which time she led several organizations responsible for the security of all Verizon wireline networks serving Verizon's residential, small business and enterprise customers. Sara has served on the board of directors of LogMeIn, Inc. since April 2018, and also serves on the board of directors of the Collin County Children’s Advocacy Center, a non-profit child advocacy center based in Plano, Texas. She is a member of the CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) Coalition National Leadership Board and, in March 2019, was named an Ambassador to the World Economic Forum’s Centre for Cybersecurity.

Ronald E. F. Codd, Independent Consultant

Ronald has served as a member of the board of directors since July 2012. He has been an independent business consultant since April 2002. From January 1999 to April 2002, he served as president, chief executive officer, and a director of Momentum Business Applications, Inc., an enterprise software company. From September 1991 to December 1998, he served as senior vice president of finance and administration and chief financial officer of PeopleSoft, Inc., a provider of human resource management systems. He has served on the board of directors of ServiceNow, Inc., Rocket Fuel Inc. and Veeva Systems Inc. since February 2012. Additionally, he previously served on the boards of directors of numerous information technology companies, including most recently DemandTec, Inc., Interwoven, Inc. and Data Domain, Inc.

Ronald holds a B.S. in accounting from the University of California, Berkeley and an M.M. in finance and M.I.S. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Arthur W. Coviello, Jr., Venture Partner, Rally Ventures

Art has served as a member of the board of directors since December 2020. Since 2015 he has been an active investor and advisor in the technology industry, guiding startups both as a private investor and in his roles as a Venture Partner at Rally Ventures, as an advisor to ClearSky Security Fund, and as a Senior Advisor to Blackstone’s Tactical Opportunities Group.

Prior to joining Rally Ventures, Art served as Executive Chairman of RSA, the Security Division of EMC. Art joined RSA in 1995 and became CEO in 2000. During his tenure, the company evolved from its roots in authentication and encryption to being a leader in the most important emerging areas of information security, including security analytics, identity, and Governance, Risk & Compliance. Art has been a central figure within the information security industry for more than 25 years. Under his leadership, the annual RSA Conference became the most respected, vendor agnostic event in cybersecurity. He is a frequent keynote presenter at conferences and forums around the world. And, he has played a leading role in several national cyber-security initiatives including as an advisor to key government agencies as well as public-private initiatives.

He started his career as a certified public accountant at Deloitte, Haskins & Sells (Deloitte).

Art holds a B.B.A. degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts.

Adrian McDermott, President of Products, Zendesk

Adrian has served as a member of the board of directors since February 2019. He has been leading the Product Management and Engineering teams for Zendesk since 2010 and is currently Zendesk’s President of Products. Zendesk is a publicly traded, web-based customer service software company founded in Denmark and now headquartered in San Francisco, California. Previously, he was Chief Technical Officer at Attributor, where he managed web crawling and content identification systems for text, video and images. Adrian was the first engineer hired by Plumtree Software and remained with the company through the IPO and subsequent acquisition by BEA. He currently serves on the Bay Area advisory board for the non-profit Street Soccer USA and a member of the advisory board of directors for the startup Be My Eyes that is helping to bring sight to blind and low vision people.

Adrian holds a B.Sc. in computer science from De Montfort University.

Viral Patel, Senior Managing Director, Blackstone

Viral has served as a member of the Board of Directors since December 2020. He has served as a Senior Managing Director in the Tactical Opportunities Group at Blackstone since 2012. Since joining Blackstone in 2005, he has been involved in the execution of the firm's investments in Ai Media, Cloudreach, Cylance, Gates, Hidrovias, JDA, Milestone Equipment Corp, Penn Engineering, TITUS and Targa Resources.

Prior to joining Tactical Opportunities in 2012, Viral was a Managing Director with Blackstone Securities Partners where he focused on structured finance transactions across several industries including financial institutions, consumer, media, and healthcare. Select advisory clients include Bank Of America, Digital Cinema Implementation Partners, GIC, Qatar Foundation, Morgan Stanley, AIG, Kraft, and the New York Public Asset Fund.

Before joining Blackstone, Viral was a member of the Credit Suisse and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Structured Products businesses.

Viral graduated magna cum laude from Cornell University with a BS in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering. He serves on the Boards of Ai Media, Cloudreach, Hidrovias, JDA, Penn Engineering and TITUS.

Robert Switz, Former Chairman, President and CEO, ADC Telecommunications

Bob has served as a member of the board of directors since September 2017. He has more than 30 years of experience across the technology market and other industries, including more than 15 years with ADC Telecommunications, Inc., a supplier of network infrastructure products and services. Bob served as president and CEO from August 2003 to December 2010, and was named chairman of the board in 2008. He joined ADC as chief financial officer in 1994, and was a major contributor to the company’s financial and business success in a number of other leadership roles. Prior to ADC, Bob held senior finance and operations management positions at Burr-Brown Corporation, a multi-national manufacturer of precision micro-electronics and systems products; Gulfstar Incorporated, a leading manufacturer of luxury motor yachts; PepsiCo Incorporated, an international beverage, restaurant and snack foods company; AMF Incorporated, a leisure and industrial products company; and Olin Corporation, a diversified chemical, metals and consumer products company. An active board member, Bob has served on Micron Technology’s board of directors since 2006 and as its chairman of the board since February 2012.

Bob holds an MBA from the University of Bridgeport and a B.S. in business administration from Quinnipiac University.
